When I was scrolling through the images that was Louis Fratino’s brilliant In bed and abroad exhibition on view at Sikkema Jenkins, it was like the best kind of experience: it felt like a journal. You didn’t have to be on this trip through Europe to understand a narrative, to experience the warmth of travel, of intimacy with a partner when both experiencing new places and creating memories, of snapshots of life that you want to freeze in your mind for all your own eternity.
