One of the shows we are highly anticipating this fall is Derek Aylward’s Good Morning Sunshine at Shrine, Los Angeles. Derek has been on our list of artists we have been wanting to feature over the last few years, and his comic book meets outsider art meets graffiti meets a bit of a neo-expressionist style has all the bits of the things we like in contemporary painting; a joining of generations. As Shrine continues to have a string of great shows, this is one to see. —Evan Pricco
