Summer 2022 cover artist, ARYZ, has once again taken a gothic church environment and created a contemporary work that plays with the balance of past and present. Currently on view at the Santa Maria del Pi Church in Barcelona, the work provides a stunning backdrop to the 15th century structure. Although the “original stained-glass windows have not survived,” the oldest of those that exist now date from 1718.
