“I’m getting to a place where I can feel free,” former cover artist and Brooklyn-based painter Timothy Curtis says, “and I’m making the best work I can make.” What Curtis presents in Paris, in his solo debut with Almine Rech, Self Watering Flowers, is an evolution of form and a portal to his past.
