Hashimoto Contemporary is pleased to present Erasing Time, a solo exhibition by San Francisco-based artist Sean Newport. Each work is comprised of hand cut and painted wood shapes that create dimensional tessellations that explore color, form and light. Newport’s latest body of work utilizes countless layers of paint on his signature wooden pixels that are meticulously sanded to reveal the layers and time beneath.
