Venus Angelica is a talented children’s book illustrator from Canada who creates captivating art pieces. Her passion for art began at an early age when her parents would read picture books to her at night, using funny voices and acting out the characters. The colorful illustrations in those storybooks sparked her imagination and nurtured her love for visual arts.

Angelica’s mother gave her a paintbrush when she was just two years old, and she has been an artist ever since. Her love for the arts is evident in her illustrations, which are playful, exaggerated, and bursting with color. She draws inspiration from illustrated puzzle books, which she can look at for hours and always discover something new visually.
She hopes her drawings will spark the same creativity and imagination in others that her favorite picture books did for her as a child.
